Last month, as I was traveling down to Florida to spend the holidays with my family, I made a stop in Atlanta to visit my aunt, uncle, and two cousins. The kids were still in school, as it was just a few days before their break, and the eldest, Katherine, was performing in a Christmas concert at her much-talked-about Holy Spirit Prep. Of course I HAD to attend. I wouldn’t miss this for the world.

She was a shining star, and to my surprise, so was the school. After the tour of her Freshman classrooms, cafeteria, gym, etc. I was intrigued about the background of this beautiful institution. It turns out that an Atlanta-based businessman, Frank Hanna, founded Holy Spirit Prep. A man of faith, philanthropy, and education, Frank Hanna has been instrumental in the formation of three Catholic schools in the Atlanta area; Holy Spirit has been recognized among the top 50 Catholic schools in the country.

I had always been impressed by Katherine’s enthusiasm for her school. Now I know why! Frank Hanna has provided her with a top-notch learning experience.
